I have a degree in Statistics (2:2). I also have a postgraduate degree (Master of Business Administration MBA). I have applied for several jobs but all come back with one reason or another on why I'm not suitable for the post. What should I do? Is education less superior to work experience? If so, why all the stress about education? Peoples life seems wasted and delayed when after several years of hard work through University, you end up with letters of rejection which in other words comes across to the individual as failure! It is very saddening that I still find myself as unemployed or taking a lower job.

Don't loose hope. I've got an MBA as well, and I have found myself out of work after graduation. It is very disheartening considering how much time, finances and personal sacrifice we have had to endure to get our degrees. Sometimes I do think that all of this effort was wasted I can't even afford to pay off my student debt because no one will hire me. All I want is just a chance, an opportunity, but I seem to get the door shut in my face constantly. Nevertheless, I recommend you keep at it. As a previous alumni said to me, "Don't give up. You are smart, capable and very hardworking. You just need to focus on what you want, and go for it even if you have to volunteer sometimes. Just don't give up!" I hope this helps.
